Marion Hughes
Marion is a very experienced Showjumper, hailing from Graigue, Cuffesgrange, Co.Kilkenny. She has had unrivalled national and international success in her career. Marion’s great horses included Flo Jo, Carnival Bouncer, Heritage Poker, Heritage Voar D’Isigni, Heritage Fortunus, Heritage Transmission, Oh Jessie, and Galileo.
In 2004, Marion competed in the Athens Olympics riding the Stallion Heritage Fortunus. She was second the same year in the Saint Lo Grand Prix in France and came third in the Eindhoven Grand Prix. She was an Irish team member in the Super League, and jumped clear rounds in both Rotterdam and Lucerne riding Heritage Fortunus. Marion now devotes her time to producing young horses bred at the Hughes Horse Stud to International level.
