Jamie runs Gornall Equestrian from state-of-the-art facilities in North Yorkshire. Unlike many of his peers, Jamie didn’t grow up showjumping as he didn’t learn to ride until he was a teenager. He has made up for his later start in the sport, competing within showjumping for the last 15 years, and has ridden for and trained with some of the best riders in the world.

He started his showjumping career riding for leading lady rider Di Lampard and subsequently a number of the leading riders in Europe, including Janne Friederike Meyer, Rolf Goran Bengtsson, John Whitaker and Ludger Beerbaum.
