Biography
Shane Breen
Based at Hickstead, Shane Breen runs Breen Equestrian with his wife, Chloe. Born in Limerick, Shane got his first pony at the age of five and hunted throughout his childhood. He believes this hunting background has placed him in good stead, especially with helping him to win many derby-style competitions, including the Hickstead Speed Derby and the Hickstead Eventing Grand Prix. Representing Ireland at pony level, Shane became a European silver medalist and won the opportunity to spend some time in Nelson Pessoa’s yard. He then progressed through Junior and Young Rider teams to the Irish National Team, and he has contributed Nations Cup victories.
I have been feeding my horses RED MILLS for years and I can confidently say that it is the best feed on the market. My horses all look and feel fantastic, and there is a product to meet the needs of all of our horses - even the fussy eaters. Not only do they all look great, but they perform and recover well.
