The biggest win of his career, writing a new chapter of excellence for himself & his team,
In a night defined by breathtaking speed and unmatched precision, RED MILLS rider Abdel Saïd and his outstanding mare Bonne Amie captured a landmark victory in the €1.25 million Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix at the GC Prague Playoffs.
Performing under the intense pressure of a sold-out O2 Arena with more than 15,700 fans, Saïd delivered two exceptional rounds to secure the biggest win of his career, writing a new chapter of excellence for himself, his team and his proud partners Connolly’s RED MILLS and their sister brands Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin
A Masterclass from Saïd & Bonne Amie
With a commanding display of determination and speed, Saïd and Bonne Amie finished on 4 faults in a remarkable 62.43 seconds, a time that proved untouchable in one of the tightest LGCT Super Grand Prix finishes in history.
His performance set a benchmark early in Round 2 one that none of the remaining contenders could surpass.
Close behind, RED MILLS Rider Scott Brash and Hello Chadora Lady delivered a superb effort of their own to finish third on 4 faults in 62.81 seconds, but the night ultimately belonged to Saïd and the remarkable Bonne Amie.
“I am very proud of my horse”
A visibly emotional Saïd spoke with pride and admiration for Bonne Amie after their unforgettable victory:
“It’s unbelievable. I’m still trying to take it in. I am very proud of my horse… She’s a big lady to go fast in an indoor arena. In my heart I knew it was a long shot to win with so many good horses and riders to follow. I certainly didn’t expect to win the LGCT Super Grand Prix in Prague.”
A Night That Showcased True Championship Quality
Round 1 was fiercely contested, with no riders producing a clear as the world class course demanded absolute precision. Despite the pressure mounting, Saïd and Bonne Amie rose to the challenge in Round 2, delivering a lightning fast performance that none of the remaining combinations could match.
Their victory stands as a testament to Saïd’s skill, strategy, and composure and to Bonne Amie’s extraordinary bravery and athleticism under the brightest of lights.
The evening concluded with a spectacular prize-giving ceremony inside the O2 Arena, where Saïd was awarded the prestigious LGCT Super Grand Prix trophy alongside a Longines timepiece. Bonne Amie’s dedicated groom was also honoured for their unwavering support behind the scenes.
A Proud Moment for RED MILLS
This historic victory is a milestone moment for himself, his team and his proud partners Connolly’s RED MILLS and their sister brands Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin showcasing the power of dedication, partnership, and world class preparation.
We are incredibly proud to support Abdel Saïd at the pinnacle of the sport and congratulate him on becoming the 2025 LGCT Super Grand Prix Champion.
