Connolly’s RED MILLS has been supplying horse feed in Ireland since 1967. In 1985, Liam Connolly and his 2 sons Joe and Bill exported their first load of horse feed to the United Kingdom. The family then took the emerging RED MILLS brand to continental Europe in 1993. By 2000, RED MILLS had grown its footprint across Europe through its culture of hard work, quality and consistency underpinned by innovation to meet customer needs. Today, our range is extensively available across most of Europe.
Asia
In 2005, RED MILLS became the first equine feed company in the world to secure a landmark Chinese licence for horse feed supply. Our innovative NFMS packaging technology utilised secured successful customer expansion due to being suitable for high-humidity environments. This success in the region was closely followed by additional customer growth across far Eastern Asia. Today, we continue to supply leading stables from Beijing to Tokyo, with sales offices in China, Korea and India as part of our commitment to serving the customers in the region.
US/Canada/Mexico
In 1997, Connolly’s RED MILLS branched out into the United States market, leading to a rapid expansion of our equine feed distribution. These include some of the largest states within the US and beyond, further expanding to the Canada region. Today, we have a company branch and sales office in the USA that provides direct technical and product support to our customers in these areas.
Gulf & Middle East
In 2007, RED MILLS grew its international presence even further by settling its roots in the Emirate of Dubai and the greater Middle Eastern region. The region is serviced through our Freezone entity, RED MILLS INTERNATIONAL, with our distributors and their subsidiaries servicing our valued customers. RED MILLS now supplies many of the countries within the Gulf region, with support on the ground thanks to our expert team located in our branch offices in Dubai.
