FOR over 100 years, Connolly’s RED MILLS has never stopped building on our reputation for converting fresh, natural ingredients into the most trusted feed for peak performance right around the world.

It’s been a busy month for the RED MILLS export team with customers sending horses all over the globe to compete at some of the most famous horse racing and show jumping events in the world.

Last Thursday we tuned in to the tv show “Hector Ó Siberia go Saigon” as Hector traveled across Mongolia. It was exciting to see our RED MILLS feed feature as part of the social media coverage of his trip where he met some of Mongolia’s top horse trainers.

As the saying goes…. ‘Wherever You Go, We Go’.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is 9,500 kilometres from RED MILLS in Goresbridge Ireland.

Our export team prepare all the relevant documentation for the feed. All of our export products in NFMS (Nutrient Fresh Management System) packaging are dispatched from our Export Warehouse.

It is quite a journey for the feed, travelling in a container from Goresbridge to Dublin where it boards a ship to Rotterdam. It then travels to Xingang in China. The final leg of the journey is by train arriving in Ulaabaatar in Mongolia, a whole 60 days after it leaves Goresbridge.

The Sea Freight Transit time Dublin / Xingang is 44 days approximately.

The rail transit from Xingang / Ulaanbaatar is 14 days minimum.

The team in our export department has coordinated sending RED MILLS Feed to the Breeders Cup in California, The Melbourne Cup in Australia and the Longines Global Champions Tour in Doha.

RED MILLS manufacture all its feed here at the mill in Goresbridge, from where it is sent all over the world.

Since Michael Connolly bought the famous mill in Goresbridge, County Kilkenny, Connolly’s RED MILLS has used those core values to grow from a local mill in South-East Ireland, to a global brand, available in 73 countries around the world.
