2021 Auction Hurdle Series to begin at Limerick May 27th
Connolly’s RED MILLS and Irish EBF are delighted to bring you two additional races in the 2021/2022 RED MILLS Irish EBF Auction Hurdle Series, bringing the number of qualifying races to 16 before the valuable €75,000 final at the 2022 Punchestown Festival. The first of these new races will be held at Limerick Racecourse on Thursday 27th May with entries closing on Thursday 20th May at 12 noon. The remainder of the fifteen series races will be run from August 2021 until March 2022.
Horses must be by an EBF registered stallion & bought as an unraced 3/4yo at a recognised National Hunt Store sale for €45,000/€30,000 or less. All races in the series are worth a minimum of €20,000, fillies have the opportunity to win an additional €5,000 if they win and are registered for the Weatherbys/ITBA Fillies Bonus Scheme. This year will also see the new IRE Incentive Scheme on the races in the series, a €10,000 Sales Voucher will be awarded to the winner if they are (IRE) bred.
