Connolly’s RED MILLS, Foran Equine, and Carr & Day & Martin Proud to Sponsor the Hughes Horse Stud Annual Show

Connolly’s RED MILLS, alongside our sister brands Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin, are proud to announce our continued sponsorship of the Hughes Horse Stud Annual Show, taking place on Friday 7th June and Saturday 8th June 2025.

As part of this exciting partnership, we are delighted to sponsor three standout classes:

  • Carr & Day & Martin 1.15m 5-Year-Old Class
  • Foran Equine 1.25m 6-Year-Old Class
  • Connolly’s RED MILLS 1.35m Mini Grand Prix

Over the past few years, the Hughes Horse Stud Annual Show has become a major fixture on the Irish sport horse calendar, consistently attracting many of the country’s top horses and riders. This year is set to be no exception, and we’re especially excited to showcase Ireland’s most promising young horse talent on Friday, continuing a tradition of excellence and performance.

In recognition of the vital work done behind the scenes, Carr & Day & Martin will also be awarding prizes to the grooms who look after the winners in each of our sponsored classes — a small token of appreciation for their invaluable contribution to horse welfare and presentation.

Jane Davis, head of marketing at Connolly’s RED MILLS said; “We are incredibly proud to support the Hughes Horse Stud Annual Show and to continue our partnership with Marion, Miguel and all the team at Hughes Horse Stud who share our values of performance, care, and international ambition,” said Jane Davis, Head of Marketing at Connolly’s RED MILLS. “From breeding stock to 5* performers competing globally, Hughes Horse Stud trusts RED MILLS Nutrition to help their horses thrive.”

All horses at Hughes Horse Stud – from foals to elite international show jumpers – are proudly fed with Connolly’s RED MILLS feed, our trusted products are manufactured in Kilkenny and exported to customers around the world.

We look forward to a fantastic few days of top-class sport and celebrating the very best of Irish equestrian talent.
