Bonne Amie comes to the fore for a second LGCT Doha win
Connolly’s RED MILLS Rider Abdel Said has etched his name into the history books with a sensational win in the 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha for a second year in a row. Partnered by stable favourite Bonne Amie, Said’s performance was a masterclass of precision and focus – successfully defending his title amongst a world class field and claiming the pairs spot in in the LGCT Super Grand Prix in Riyadh and placing them comfortably at the top of the LGCT leaderboard.
Speaking about the win to LGCT TV, Abdel said
“It is incredibly special – I walked the course today and I thought; Wow, this is a proper, proper Grand Prix. There were a lot of questions – you don’t come across tracks like this every week. I am just so proud of my horse and it all worked out, and was a lot of fun.”
