FEI Eventing World Championship U25 2026 presented by Connolly’s RED MILLS.

Millstreet Equestrian in Co Cork, Ireland is delighted to announce that Connolly’s RED MILLS will be the presenting sponsor of the FEI Eventing World Championship U25 2026, marking a significant milestone for both organisations and for Irish eventing on the global stage.

The official title of the championship will be: FEI Eventing World Championship U25 2026 presented by Connolly’s RED MILLS.

The championship will take place from July 23-26 at the Duggan family’s renowned Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, welcoming the world’s leading under-25 event riders and horses to Ireland for a week of elite international competition.

Athletes will contest the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping, with both team and individual medals at stake. Each nation will be represented by teams of up to four athletes, alongside individual competitors.

Teams are expected from as far afield as the USA and Australia, as well as Great Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and the Netherlands and, of course, the home nation, Ireland. Irish riders Godfrey Gibbons and Ben Connors are currently ranked 8th and 12th respectively on the new FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings.

Set within one of Europe’s most established equestrian venues, the event will utilise Millstreet’s extensive permanent facilities, including 11 all-weather arenas, world-class stabling and a beautiful cross-country course produced by Olympic course-designer Mike Etherington-Smith, set in the scenic grounds of Drishane Castle.

The championship will be live-streamed worldwide, further enhancing its international reach and showcasing the sport, the host venue and the Irish horse world to a global audience.

Mike Etherington-Smith (GBR) has been part of eventing at Millstreet since it began more than a decade ago. He was the cross-country course-designer for the Sydney 2000 and Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky and the 2005, 2019 and 2021 European Championships, plus he will be designing the course for the 2027 European Eventing Championships in Avenches.

In addition to the Championship, Millstreet will be running CCI-L and CCI-S at 4*, 3* and 2* levels.
