Erin joined Red Mills in 2021 after graduating from Hartpury University, studying Equine Science. Since then has been an active member of the technical team, tailoring diet plans and providing nutritional advice to customers in Northern England and Scotland.

Before joining Red Mills, Erin had years of practical experience working in the racing industry. Erin has a particular interest in how nutritional-related issues in horses can affect athletic potential and overall performance and in studying longitudinal risk factors of gastric ulcers in racehorses for her undergraduate dissertation. Erin’s combination of a practical background alongside her nutritional knowledge drives her interest in performance nutrition and managing nutritional-related issues.

“Working with RED MILLS customers to tailor their horses’ diets to meet nutritional demands and improve physically, is extremely rewarding and is the perfect match between the science and practical backgrounds for me. Having confidence in the products you are recommending is important and RED MILLS put the horse at the centre of everything they do to ensure the production of high-quality feeds to help support the demands of these athletic individuals. That gives you great confidence in your daily work.”
