Biography

Bertram Allen

International showjumper, Bertram Allen, started his interest in horses at just eight years of age and has not stopped since. His father had an interest in horses and supported Bertram right up through the ranks.

He competed successfully in the pony circuit in Ireland from 12.2 up to 14.2. At the age of 16, he decided to spend some time at a yard in Germany and he never left. He is now based in his yard in Hünxe.

Bertram has already achieved what others only dream of in a career. Together with Romanov, Bertram climbed into the Top 10 in the world rankings. In 2014 with wonder mare Molly Malone V, Bertram won the 5-star Grand Prix at the Dublin Horse Show. In 2015, he also became the youngest rider to win a round of the Global Champions Tour.
