Harry Allen

Harry Allen is an emerging star in the world of international showjumping, known for his exceptional talent, composure under pressure, and his rapid rise through the ranks of equestrian sport. Born on November 25, 2001, in Wexford, Ireland, Harry comes from a family with deep roots in showjumping. His older brother, Bertram Allen, is also a successful showjumper, and together, the Allen brothers are making a significant impact on the global showjumping scene. 

One of Harry’s early major successes came at the 2017 European Pony Championships, where he won a team gold medal and an individual gold medal. Following this success, Harry was recognized with the 2017 Longines Rising Star Award – the first Irish athlete to receive this award. These victories marked him as one of the top young riders in Europe and showcased his potential for future success. 

Despite his rapid rise to fame, Harry Allen remains grounded and focused on his career. He continues to train and compete regularly, often alongside his brother Bertram, who has been a significant influence on his development as a rider. The two brothers share a close relationship, and their success has brought pride to their family and the Irish equestrian community.
