Connolly’s RED MILLS & Foran Equine Leaderboard Update – March 2026 British Point-to-Point Championships
As March 2026 draws to a close, it’s time to take a look at who’s leading the British National Point-to-Point Championship leaderboards and it’s all still to play for.
The Connolly’s RED MILLS Champion Horse title is currently too close to call, with a five-way tie at the top. Eastern Storm, Entity of Substanz, Grace A Vous Enki, Whatdeawant and Woodstock Octo are all locked on four winners each. With just eight weeks left of the national championships, the race for the title is wide open.
Turning to the trainers’ tables, in the Foran Equine National Champion Trainer (6–14 horses) category, Dale Peters leads the way on 10 winners; enjoying a fantastic season both as a trainer and in the saddle.
In second place is Joseph O’Shea, fresh from a memorable success at the Cheltenham Festival Hunter Chase, with seven winners. Close behind in joint third are Luke Price and Emma Summersby, both sitting on six winners.
In the Foran Equine National Champion Trainer (15+ horses) category, Gina Andrews is storming ahead with an impressive 30 winners. She has overtaken last season’s champion, Josh Newman, who is currently joint second on 26 winners alongside Christopher Barber. Alan Hill sits in third place with 15 winners.
