Ireland’s leading regional showjumping league returns, kicking off a summer of competition across Munster
The Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix returns for its sixteenth year this weekend, once again bringing top-class showjumping to venues across the province.
The 2026 series gets underway this Sunday, 26th April, at Ballylawn Show, marking the start of a highly anticipated summer circuit that has become a cornerstone of the Irish showjumping calendar. With legs hosted at leading venues throughout Munster in the months ahead, the league will once again provide a vital platform for both established riders and emerging talent.
The series will culminate in the much-anticipated final on 26th September at Tipperary Equestrian Centre, where this year’s champion will be crowned.
Now entering its sixteenth year, the partnership between Connolly’s RED MILLS and Munster Showjumping continues to go from strength to strength. Over the past decade and a half, the league has built a reputation for producing high-quality sport, developing young horses, and supporting riders at every stage of their careers.
The RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix has long been recognised not only for its competitive edge, but also for its role in preparing horses for progression to top-level national and international competition.
2025 in review
The 2025 season concluded in style with Robyn Moran and Cushlas Fryday claiming both the final leg and the overall title. Robyn’s success further cemented her remarkable record in the series, having now secured the league title outright three times, alongside four Young Rider titles.
Daisy McNamara and Caspetito Z also continued their impressive run, taking the Leading Young Rider title for the third consecutive year, underlining their consistency and high-level performance throughout the league.
