RED MILLS Riders were on top form this weekend with wins in Belgium, Switzerland and Ireland.
Bertram Allen has gotten 2019 off to a brilliant start at CSI 5* Basel. His impressive results include a 5th place finish in the Grand Prix.
Bertram’s results put him top of the leading rider rankings. Crowned leading rider of the show, Bertram drove away in a brand new car.
Irish riders dominated the line-up in Saturday’s “Golden Drum of Basel” 1m50 jump-off class at the five-star Swiss show in Basel, where Cork’s Billy Twomey scored a superb win with the Sue Davies-owned Lady Lou.
At Sentower Park, Marlon Zanotelli won the Grand Prix in impressive style.
Meanwhile, in Ireland Heike Holstein and Sambuca were impressive winners of the dressage grand Prix in Marlton with a score of 69.46%.
